SONDES
Sondes are small radio transmitters that are typically pushed through non-metallic pipes in order to locate them. Sondes are usually attached to a duct rodder to allow them to be easily pushed through bends and gradients. There are various application specific models, depending on pipe material, diameter and depth. Soil conditions may also play a significant role in sonde selection.
